5. Dragonborn. Dragonborn look very much like dragons standing erect in humanoid form, though they lack wings or a tail. this is one of my favorite uncommon race in dnd 5e, you want a majestic and strong character? well dragonborn is a good choice, since they are related to true dragon but not really a dragon. Dragonborn are not just tall and strongly built but also have a Breath weapon, Yes ,some dragonborn can breath Fire from their mouth like a dragon. How awesome is that?.
The dragoborn is divided based on their ancestor the chromatic dragon ( The black, blue, green, red, and white dragons represent the evil side of dragonkind) and metallic dragon ( the gold, silver, brass, copper, and bronze dragons represent the good side of dragonkind). Different ancestry grant the dragonborn a different ability, the red ,gold and brass ancestry grant the dragonborn a fire breath and resistance to fire, while bronze and blue a lightning breath and resistance, silver and white grant ice breath and resistance, black and copper grant an acid breath and resistance, and the last green dragon grant a poison breath and resistance.
Since dragonborn ancestral is a dragon, they can also speak draconic one of the oldest languages and is often used in the study of magic. The draconic laguange enable the dragonborn to read most magical rune even if they aren’t capable of casting a magic.
6. Gnome. As far as gnomes are concerned, being a live is a wonderful thing, and they squeeze every ounce of
enjoyment out of their three to five centuries of life. Humans might wonder about getting bored over the course of such a long life, and elves take plenty of time to savor the beauties of the world in their long years, but gnomes seem to worry that even with all that time, they can’t get in enough of the things they want to do and see. Gnomes speak as if they can’t get the thoughts out of their heads fast enough. Even as they offer ideas and opinions on a range of subjects, they still manage to listen carefully to others, adding the appropriate exclamations of surprise and appreciation along the way. Though gnomes love jokes of ali kinds, particularly puns and pranks, they’re just as dedicated to the more serious tasks they undertake, Many gnomes are skilled engineers, alchemists, tinkers, and inventors, They’re willing to make mistakes and laugh at themselves in the process of perfecting what they do, taking bold (sometimes foolhardy) risks and dreaming large,
As a character a gnome adventurer usually became the joker in the party and doing many unexpected thing in downtime but always get the job done when needed. Gnome is always curious and impulsive, but unexpectedly very smart so many of gnome are wizard( or Mad scientist lol).
